 Larisa's Garden Egg

Larisa's Garden Eggs, although not decorated using the wax resist method of pysanky, still are true to the tradition: using birds, bees, butterflies and flowers, meander lines, the symbols for stars, the cross and the magical number three, Larisa Vashchenko creates these whimsical, one-of-a-kind eggs. Colors are primarily pastel. Each egg has a different design front to back, and each is signed. These make great collectible gifts. Note: eggs are empty.

Child's Egg

The Child's Egg, decorated by Larisa Vashchenko, with its simple geometric design, borrows from the pysanky symbols. Traditionally, an egg was decorated with someone specific in mind, and the designs were a message for that individual. The older the person, the more complex the design. An egg decorated for a child would be simple, leaving a lot of white space for a life "yet to be written". These eggs are signed, and make great gifts for children as a start for a future collection. Note: eggs are empty.
